The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) was signed into law by President George W. Bush on January 8, 2002 to help improve student achievement.
The focus is on four principles found to lead to increased student achievement:
Guam and the territories apply under the consolidated application for NCLB assistance under Title V, and are subject to some, but not all NCLB requirements.
